Tom Brady Shares Broadcast Circuit Workout Instagram Post

FOOTBALL LEGEND TOM Brady took to his Instagram to share the morning workout routine that’s keeping him game-day ready – this time, for his new broadcasting gig.

Though he might not need to be field-ready as he was over his famed 23-year football career, the famed quarterback continues to prioritise his fitness. Just a few weeks after showing off his first max bench attempt in almost twenty years, Brady is back with another workout update. This time, he’s showing off his morning routine with some sunrise-backed training photos.

Brady revealed that he’s recently added swimming into his workout rotation, writing in the post’s caption that it offers ‘great muscle resistance and some aerobic cardio all at once.’ Then he breaks down the details of this particular session, which starts with a warm up of 4 rounds of 100 meters of freestyle before moving onto some speed work. He does 4 rounds of 25 meters fast, followed by 25 of recovery to catch his breath. He finishes up in the pool with some longer distance, doing 2 rounds of 200 meters.

Back on land, he paired the swim with a quick full-body circuit with only three exercises. He started with 2o reps of weighted step-ups, holding a 35-pound dumbbell in each hand. After that, he looped a heavy resistance band around his back, and does 20 reps of pushups. For a little power work, he finished off the circuit with 10 reps of box jumps. He does the whole circuit four times.

‘Colour analysts have to stay in shape, too,’ he joked in the post caption. Given the looks of his physique – at age 47, no less – the photos seem to prove that the routine is working.
